Starting this business was really a calling for me. After years of teaching, I felt like I needed mentorship. Someone to meet me where I was in my teaching and help me find my next level through authentic feedback from somebody who really wants other teachers to be their best. At the same time, because of my experience, people were sending teachers to me for that same mentorship I craved. I happily obliged these newly minted teachers, not because I thought I knew everything, but because I knew how it felt to be left without support after YTT graduation. I also believe that education needs to continue and, no matter how many hours of training a person has had, growth needs to continue and that growth happens as we keep stepping outside of our comfort zone.
Turns out, I am the person who really wants other teachers to find their most powerful confident voice and reach their next level through authentic feedback and support. There is really nothing I love more than having the opportunity to be that leader.
Warning: I may ugly cry from time to time because I'm so proud of the work we've done together or get all mama bear and take group pictures of you with your classes. Just take it as the best feedback you can get. Its like my 5 star rating.
Want to know where some of my experience comes from? Read on.
My background consists of practices and trainings in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Baptiste Power Yoga and Stand Up Paddle board Yoga. I am a full time yoga teacher, with hundreds of hours of training, a former ballet dancer and proud yoga nerd who loves all kinds of movement and physical activity from yoga, to kickboxing, paddle boarding and surfing. I've been leading regular studio classes since 2004. I regularly lead retreats and workshops that range from introductions to yoga, mobility, inversions and arm balances, to demystifying the charkas. I have also been on the faculty of several teacher trainings. Even with such a varied background and experience, I believe if I think I can ever stop learning, then I should also stop teaching.
